Bu çalışma, seçilmiş oyunların; "Antony ve Cleopatra", "Othello" ve "Titus Andronicus" analizinde postkolonyal teoriyi kullanarak, narsistik kişilik bozukluğu ile sömürgecilik arasındaki bağlantıyı araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu çalışmanın merkezinde, bu oyunlardaki olaylar ve karakterlerin tasvirleriyle sömürgeci ideolojileri pekiştiren ve günümüzün sömürgeci miraslarını şekillendiren unsurların tartışması yer almaktadır. Sosyal bilimler disiplininde "wokeness" ve politik doğruculuk gibi yeni fikir okullarının ortaya çıkışına dikkat ederek, Shakespeare'in yeni temsilleri keşfedilmektedir. Sonuç olarak, bu çalışma, postkolonyal dünyanın miras aldığı sosyokültürel ve politik sorunları çözmeyi amaçlayan, wokeness ve politik doğruculuk gibi çağdaş fikirlerle temas halinde olan Shakespeare oyunlarının yeni uyarlamalarına veya benimsemelerine, daha geniş kitlelere ulaşmak ve bu kitlelerle bağlantı kurabilmek için büyük ihtiyaç olduğunu savunmaktadır.Shakespearean plays have been one of the most globally recognized and most academically studied pieces of the literary world. This study aims to employ postcolonial theory regarding analysis of the selected plays "Antony and Cleopatra," "Othello," and "Titus Andronicus" while exploring the interconnectedness between narcissistic personality disorder and colonialism. At the center of this study is the discussion of elements that reinforce colonial ideologies and shape today's colonial legacies within these plays by depiction of events and characters. By paying attention to the emergence of new schools of ideas such as wokeness and political correctness under the discipline of social sciences, new representations of Shakespeare are explored.
