Due to this importance, many signal amplification strategies have been developed to increase the sensitivity of QD-based immunosensors. As a result of these strategies, immunosensors with high selectivity and sensitivity that are capable of determining many different target molecules with a wide range of determination and with remarkable analytical characteristics have emerged. In this chapter, the properties of QD-based immunosensors are summarized and discussed from a close perspective to some QD-based immunosensors developed in recent years. © 2021 Elsevier Inc.
