The proposed study examines the relationship between electromagnetic frequency values and periodically graded material properties by solving Maxwell equations. In addition, the optimization of electromagnetic frequency values can be achieved. By changing the material properties as desired, the frequency values can be adjusted. The fundamental nondimensional frequency parameters are calculated as 0.5, 1 and 1.5, respectively, by selecting different periodic grading ratios. © 2019 IEEE.en10.1109/PIERS-Spring46901.2019.9017684info:eu-repo/semantics/closedAccessGradingMaxwell equationsPiersElectro-magnetic frequenciesNon-dimensional frequencyPhotonicsElectromagnetic Frequency Characteristics of Periodically Graded WiresConference Object2019-June301230152-s2.0-85082010562N/A
