dc.description.abstractThe aim of this study is to calculate walnut production costs and to evaluate the walnut orchards according to income method in Istanbul. For this purpose, various data has been obtained by making a questionnaire made with 48 farmers determined by simple random sampling method. Using the income method, the bare land value of walnut orchards, tree values and the economic life of walnut trees were calculated. The method of past values was used in determining the value with trees. The capitalization interest rate that can be used in the research is determined as 3.54%, but the calculations have been based on the rates of 4% and 5%.
