The aim of this study was to determine yield and quality parameters and plant-soil-water-ozone relationships of onion (Allium cepa) using drip irrigation system to ozone concentrations have been established and compared with depth of drip laterals in Tekirdag conditions. Field trials were conducted at the farming lands during the year 2009 and 2010 growing periods. The depth of lateral lines and ozone quantity was the treatments of the study as, 100%, 50% and 0% of the irrigation duration and 0, 10 and 20 cm. Generally, the effects of ozone concentrations on yield parameters were not statistically significant, while the effect on yield were statistically significant. The greatest onion yield was obtained in the first year from O3D1 treatment as 35,70 t ha(-1) and the second year from O3D3 treatment as 31,00 t ha(-1). The measured crop evapotranspiration for the 2009 and 2010 years changed as 571,36-581,25 mm and 507,61-551,04 mm, respectively. Irrigation water use efficiency (IWUE) changed as 5,20-9,54 kg m(-3) (2009) and 6,55-11,23 kg m(-3) (2010), while water use efficiency (WUE) changes as 3,35-6,14 kg m(-3) (2009) and 3,28-6,11 kg m(-3)(2010). Generally, it can be said that the yield can be improved without impairing the quality factors with conscious irrigation and the number of studies that investigated the possibilities of use with drip irrigation and ozone applications should be increasing.
