Özet
This study is made with the aim of finding out the chemical, physical and typical morphologic features of the lands be tween Baglars lopes and Istanbul entrance of the ring road and classifying it according to soil taxonomy and soil categorizing system. In the findings section of the study, at first, the factors that makes soil have been explained, then, by specifying morphological features of 10 profiles searched and important physical and chemical analysis results have been presented as a whole. After evaluating the analysis results, it has been found out that textures are generally loamy. According to Past Soil Classification System, all of the profiles belong to the group of lime -free brown soil. According to soil taxonomy, entisol has taken place in inceptisol and vertisol orders. These different soils coming into existence in short distances and in the same climate conditions have have arisen depending on drainage network system and topography where Aydinpinar and Cayirlar rivers are present. The soil survey has been determined as high plasticity silt, high plasticity clay and low plasticity clay according to the USCS classifying system.
