Karma sistemin karıştırma süresinin tespiti TMR'ın Penn State partikül testleri yapılarak belirlenmiştir. The performance values of fully automatic Total Mixed Ration (TMR) preparation systems have been determined in this thesis. For this purpose, the accuracy rates of ingredient delivery to the mixing wagon, mixing duration, and the accuracy of each ingredient and the total quantity of TMR have been assessed. Additionally, labor and energy consumption values within the system have been identified. The study involved monitoring the processes in two different farms in Kırklareli province, where conventional and fully automatic TMR preparation systems were in use, without altering the sequence and quantity of ingredient inclusion. Throughout the experiments, accuracy tests were conducted for the sequence of inclusion and material weights for each ingredient and the accuracy of TMR weights. The determination of the mixing time for the system was achieved by conducting Penn State particle tests for TMR. During the process, the electrical energy consumption and fuel consumption of the systems, as well as specific electrical energy and specific fuel consumption, were determined. Within this scope, the TMR preparation costs of the systems were calculated. Furthermore, the labor employed in mixing and processing was also taken into consideration. According to the research results, the accuracy rate of the TMR prepared in the fully automatic TMR preparation system was found to be 99.34%, while in the conventional system, it was 97.40%. The mixing time in the fully automatic system was measured as 25 minutes, whereas in the conventional system, it was 35 minutes. The calculated specific electrical energy value in the fully automatic system was 7,68 kWh/ton, and the specific fuel consumption in the conventional system was determined as 1,11 L/ton. In the fully automatic system, no labor is required. The results of this thesis demonstrate the potential of automation technology in the agricultural sector. Further research and applications may further reveal the potential for increasing efficiency and sustainability through the use of these technologies.
