Özet
Bu çalısmada Fusarium oxysporum Schlechtend.: Fr. f. sp. cepae (H. N. Hans. ) W. C. Snyder H. N. Hans tarafından olusturulan soganda dip çürüklügü hastalıgının baskı altına alınmasında toprak fungistasisinin etkisini belirlemek amacıyla Tekirdag ili ve çevresindeki sogan (Allium cepa L.) tarlalarından 27 toprak örnegi test edilmistir. Toprak örnekleri soganın fide döneminde rizosfer bölgesinden 2-20 cm derinlikte alınmıs ve bazı fizikokimyasal özellikleri belirlinmistir. Fungistasis, toprak örneklerindeki uçucu bilesiklerin patojen fungusun spor çimlenmesini engellemesi ve antagonist fungus populasyonunun belirlenmesi olmak üzere iki yöntemle degerlendirilmistir. Toprak örneklerindeki uçucu bilesikler patojen fungusun spor çimlenmesini yüksek oranda engellememistir. Topraktaki uçucu bilesiklerin patojenin spor çimlenmesini engelleme oranları ile topragın fizikokimyasal yapısı arasında bir korelasyon saptanmamıstır. Topraklardan izole edilen fungus türlerinin patojene karsı antagonistik etkisi in vitro kosullarda belirlenmistir. Toprak örneklerindeki antagonist fungus populasyonu analizleri F. oxysporum f. sp. cepae 'ya karsı toprak fungistasisinde antagonist fungus türlerinin önem tasıdıgını göstermistir.
27 soils from the onion (Allium cepa L.) fields of Tekirdag province and distincts were taken to investigate the effect of soil fungistasis on suppression of basal rot of onion caused by Fusarium oxysporum Schlechtend.: Fr. f. sp. cepae (H. N. Hans. ) W. C. Snyder H. N. Hans in this study. Soil samples from rhizosphere region at a depth of 2–20 cm. were collected at seedling stage of onion. Some physical and chemical characteristics of the soils were tested. Fungistasis was evaluated using two assay methods including the inhibition of pathogen spore germination by the volatile compounds from the soil and the determination of antagonist fungus population of the soil samples. High inhibition rates of spore germination of the pathogen due to volatiles from soils were not detected in soil samples. The inhibition rates of volatile compounds from soils for the inhibition of spore germination of pathogen were not correlated with physicochemical properties of the soils. Antagonism tests with fungi isolated from soil against F. oxysporum f. sp. cepae were realized in vitro condition. Antagonist fungal population analysis in soil samples indicated that the presence of antagonist fungi species might be essential for the development of fungistasis.
