Öğe A Novel Approach to Machine Learning Application to Protection Privacy Data in Healthcare: Federated Learning(2020) Süzen, Ahmet Ali; Şimşek, Mehmet AliAim: Today, data banks contain unpredictable data. Together with the advances in data science, large data offer the potential to better understand the causes of diseases. This potential results from the processing, analysis or modeling of machine learning algorithms. Various data sets stored in different institutions are not always shared directly due to privacy and legal concerns. This problem limits the full use of large data in health research. Federated learning is aimed at developing artificial intelligence systems based on both high accuracy and data privacy. Materials and Methods: In this study, a federated learning approach was proposed in order to access any data and develop machine learning applications without sharing personal information within the scope of data privacy. Firstly, the structure of the Federated learner has been studied. It was then determined how federated learning should be used in machine learning models in different health applications. Results: In federated learning, the model is trained on local computers and its updates are transferred to a central server. The updated model is then transferred to local models. In this way, the central model is trained without seeing the data. Conclusion: It is necessary to make machine learning models in which confidentiality is applied with data obtained from health. For this, federated learning must be integrated into traditional machine learning applications. Thus, high performance is envisaged to be achieved with big data where data confidentiality is adopted.Öğe A STUDY OF BLOCKCHAIN IN IOT ARCHITECTURE(Ahmet Ali SÜZEN, 2021) Şimşek, Mehmet AliIndustry 4.0 includes concepts such as artificial intelligence, big data, autonomous systems, human robot interaction, and the internet of things. In these cases, new analytical algorithms of Industry 4.0 are needed. By using deep learning technologies, various industrial challenging problems in Industry 4.0 can be solved. Deep learning provides algorithms that can give better results on datasets owing to hidden layers. In this chapter, deep learning methods used in Industry 4.0 are examined and explained. In addition, data sets, metrics, methods, and tools used in the previous studies are explained. This study can lead to artificial intelligence studies with high potential to accelerate the implementation of Industry 4.0. Deney modülleri android işletim sistemine sahip bir mobil cihaz üzerindebulunan yazılım aracılığıyla uzaktan kontrol edilmektedir. Bunun için bluetooth teknolojisikullanılmıştır. Deney modülleri ve master modül arasındaki bağlantı Denetleyici Alan Ağı ilesağlanmıştır. Bu sayede sensör ve motor verileri seri haberleşme ile iletilmiştir.Öğe DİZ MRI GÖRÜNTÜLERİNDEN MENİSKÜS YIRTIKLARININ DERİN ÖĞRENME İLE OTOMATİK TESPİTİ: YOLO V8, V9 VE V10 SERİLERİ(Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam Üniversitesi, 2025) Şimşek, Mehmet Ali; Sertbaş, AhmetMenüsküs yırtıkları diz ekleminde meydana gelen ve insanların hareket kabiliyetlerini olumsuz etkileyen bir hastalıktır. Bu çalışmada, menisküs yırtıklarının tespiti amacıyla YOLOv8l, YOLOv8x, YOLOv9c, YOLOv9e, YOLOv10l ve YOLOv10x gibi son teknoloji YOLO (You Only Look Once) modellerinin performansı incelenmiştir. Algoritmalar, manyetik rezonans görüntüleme (MRG) görüntülerinden elde edilen veriler üzerinde eğitilmiş ve test edilmiştir. Çalışmamızda kullanılan YOLOv9e modeli, eğitim sürecinde elde edilen en iyi sonuçlarda 0,91807 mAP50, 0.87684 Precision, 0.93871 Recall ve 0.90672 F1 Score değerleriyle en yüksek başarıyı göstermiştir. Bu çalışma, kullanılan ileri seviye algoritmalar ve kapsamlı performans analizi ile alanda özgün bir katkı sağlamaktadır. Elde edilen bulgular, derin öğrenme algoritmalarının menisküs yırtıklarının otomatik tespiti ve lokalizasyonunda klinik kullanıma uygun olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu sayede erken teşhis olasılığı artmakta ve hastaların doğru tedaviye yönlendirilmesi sağlanarak ilerleyen dönemde oluşabilecek eklem sorunlarının önüne geçilebilmektedir. In the present study, a system has been implemented in order to monitor and remotely control the parameters of a building automation system and to gather data. The system is a PLC and SCADA based system. The proposed system was applied in Tekirdag Namık Kemal University Vocational School of Technical Sciences Control and Automation Technology laboratory.Öğe The Attack Methodology to Wireless Domains of Things in Industry 4.0(Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli Üniversitesi, 2019) Süzen, Ahmet Ali; Şimşek, Mehmet Ali; Kayaalp, Kıyas; Gürfidan, RemziIn this study, the vulnerability tests were carried out through the techniques of penetration, crack and impersonation the wireless network connections in which the thing in the industry 4.0 was communicating. The MAC addresses of all the devices by the penetration technique has been seen in the network identified. The device is dropped from the network using de-auth attacks with MAC address. As a result of this, the operation of Industrial 4.0 systems is interrupted or stopped. It is possible to predict the standard passwords of the distributors with WPS feature turned on by means of cracking techniques and to penetration the wireless network or to disable the network. In the end, it can be seen that the existing data can be deleted or collected by adding a new device to the system with the fake technique of the wireless network. The results showed that WEP, WPA, and WPA2 security were not sufficiently used in the wireless network. As a result of the penetration methodology, it was determined that the use of wireless networks would not be a solution in the connections where data security was high in Industry 4.0.Öğe Ultrasound processing of verjuice (unripe grape juice) vinegar: effect on bioactive compounds, sensory properties, microbiological quality and anticarcinogenic activity(Springer, 2020) Yıkmış, Seydi; Bozgeyik, Esra; Şimşek, Mehmet AliVerjuice is one of the alternative fruit juices recently obtained from unripe grapes. In this study, the aim was primarily to optimize the process conditions for the enrichment of bioactive components in verjuice vinegar with ultrasound treatment. For this purpose, ultrasound treatment was applied to vinegar samples at different times (2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 min), different amplitudes (60%, 65%, 70%, 75% and 80%) and 26 kHz frequency. Total phenolic content (TPC), total flavonoid content (TFC), total antioxidant capacity (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) and cupric reducing antioxidant capacity (CUPRAC) were evaluated for optimization (response surface methodology (RSM) and genetic algorithm (GA)) of process conditions. The sensory properties, microbiological quality and anticarcinogenic activity were then evaluated for the ultrasound-treated verjuice vinegar (UVV) (9.4 min and 68.7 amplitude result of RSM), traditional verjuice vinegar and pasteurized verjuice vinegar samples obtained from the optimization. At the end of the RSM optimization, CUPRAC (464.44 mg TEAC/mL), DPPH (0.694 mg TEAC/mL), TFC (70.85 mg CE/mL) and TPC (12.22 mg GAE/mL) were determined. RSM and GA results were found to be approximately the same. Analysis results showed that ultrasound-treated verjuice vinegar was enriched bioactive components compared to other samples. Verjuice vinegar showed anticarcinogenic effects. The UVV sample was generally appreciated in sensory evaluation. As a result, ultrasound treatment of verjuice vinegar was found to be successful. © 2020, Association of Food Scientists & Technologists (India).
