Trakya bölgesinde kırsal kooperatiflerin katılımı ile ekoturizmi geliştirme olanakları

Abstract

Ekoturizm, doğal alanlara yapılan, çevreyi koruma ve yerel halkın refahını devamlı kılma sorumluluğu taşıyan tatil/seyahattir. Tanımdan da anlaşılacağı gibi yerel halkın refahını, yani bir anlamda ekonomik anlamda kalkınmasını da gözeten bir turizm türüdür. Ekoturizm faaliyetlerinde bulunan bölgedeki kırsal halk kalkınıyorsa gerçek anlamda bir Ekoturizmden söz edilebilir. Günübirlik yapılan bir turizm aktivitesi eğer yerel halka hiçbir fayda sağlamıyorsa sadece doğa tabanlı turizm aktivitesi olarak ele alınmalıdır. Bu çalışmada Trakya Bölgesinde Ekoturizm potansiyeli bulunan köylerde Ekoturizm faaliyetlerini geliştirme olanakları incelenmiştir. Çalışmada iki ayrı grup anket çalışması uygulanmıştır. Anketlerden elde edilen veriler SPSS programı ile incelenmiş, değerlendirilerek yorumlanmıştır. Faktör Analizi, Çok Boyutlu Ölçekleme Analizi, SWOT Analizi gibi analiz yöntemleri uygulanmıştır. Çalışmada Kırsal Kooperatiflerin Ekoturizm ile ilişkileri de ortaya konulmaya çalışılmış, bölgedeki köyler için Ekoturizm kooperatifleri kurulması önerisi değerlendirilmiş ve bunun yanında çeşitli önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Ecotourism is a vacation/trip made to natural areas bearing the responsibility of continuous welfare of local people and environmental protection. As will be understood from the definition, ecotourism is a type of tourism which aims at the welfare, in a sense the development of local people. If rural people involved in ecotourism activities are developed, then we can really talk about ecotourism. If daily tourism activity doesn't contribute any benefit to local people, it must be considered as tourism activity nature based. The development opportunities and facilities of ecotourism activities in the villages which had ecotourism potential in Thrace region were studied in this research. Two separate groups of questionnaires were used in the study. The relations of rural cooperatives with Ecotourism were determined; the suggestions for the establishment of ecotourism cooperatives for the villages in the region were evaluated and besides various proposals were made for the achievement of ecotourism.
