Kirazın hasadına yönelik özelliklerinin saptanması üzerine bir araştırma

Abstract

Kiraz, çeşitli zorluklar ve kısıtlardan ötürü el ile hasat edilen bir meyvedir. Bu da, yüksek oranda insan gücü kullanılması sonucunu doğurmaktadır. Türkiye'nin yıllık kiraz üretimi, 338 bin ton seviyelerindedir. Kiraz hasadı için geliştirilebilecek çeşitli alet ya da makinalar bu alandaki üretime büyük katkı sağlayabilecek potansiyeldedir. Kiraz üretiminde, hasat için gerekli olan işgücünün, toplam işgücü gereksinimi içindeki payı %70 seviyelerindedir. Bu araştırmada kiraz meyvesinin fiziksel ve mekanik özelliklerinin saptanarak, kiraz hasadının mekanize edilebilmesi için gerekli verilerin toplanması ve bu konuda temel bir çalışma yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda; 4 adet kiraz çeşidi için (0900 Ziraat, Starks Gold, Merton Late, Lambert) meyvenin sapından kopma kuvveti, ağırlık, kalınlık, genişlik, yükseklik, küresellik, yüzey alanı, hacim, yoğunluk, net meyve eti ağırlığı, çekirdek ağırlığı, kalınlık, genişlik, yükseklik, küresellik, yüzey alanı, sapların daldan kopma kuvveti, uzunlukları, ağırlıkları tespit edilmiştir. 0900 Ziraat çeşidi için meyvenin saptan kopma kuvveti 0,263 kg, daldan kopma kuvveti 0,718 kg, ağırlık 9,223 g olarak bulunmuştur. Elde edilen verilerin değerlendirilmesi ve analizi sonucunda 0900 Ziraat çeşidinin mekanik hasat için en uygun çeşit olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Sweet cherries are harvested by hand, because of the difficulties in harvesting. Therefore, harvesting by hand resulted in high usage of manpower. In Turkey, yield of sweet cherry trees is approximately 338000 tons per year. The developing different tools and machines might have potentially great effect at this area. Labour requirement of sweet cherry harvesting is nearly 70% of labour force of whole sweet cherry production process. The objective of recent study was to determine physical, mechanical properties of fresh fruits of sweet cherry and in light of the foregoing data would be the basic research for developing harvest mechanization of these fruit species. Several physical, biological and mechanical properties of four sweet cherry varieties (0900 Ziraat, Starks Gold, Merton Late, Lambert) were determined and compared in terms of rupture force of fruit, weight, thickness, length, width, sphericity, surface area, volume, fruit mass, net fruit weight, weight of stone, width of stone, lenght of stone, sphericity, rupture force of branch, peduncle lenght, weight. Rupture force of fruit, rupture force of branch and weight of the fruit of 0900 Ziraat variety were found 0.263 kg, 0.718 kg, 9.223 g, respectively. The results of the research revealed that 0900 Ziraat is the most suitable variety for mechanic harvest.
