OLUŞUMSAL YAPISALCILIK BAĞLAMINDA “SORUNSAL KAHRAMAN” VE “DÜNYA GÖRÜŞÜ” KAVRAMLARI: BERNARD-MARIE KOLTÈS’İN BATI RIHTIMI (QUAI OUEST)

Abstract

Yazın toplumbiliminde ortaya koyduğu ilke ve kuralları kendinden önceki kuramcıların çalışmalarıyla birleştirerek, oluşumsal yapısalcılığın sınırlarını çizen ve farklı türden yapıtlardaki uygulamalarını gösteren Lucien Goldmann, yönteminin tiyatro yapıtlarının çözümlenmesinde de uygulanabilir olduğunu gösterir. Ona göre, sanatın hangi dalında olursa olsun, kayda değer eser niteliği taşıyan her ürün, düşüncede oluşma düzeyinden başlayarak, okur veya izleyiciye tamamlanmış bir ürün olarak sunulduğu en son aşamaya kadar, tümüyle ait olduğu toplumun tarihsel, ekonomik, toplumsal ve kültürel gereklilik ve gereksinimleri doğrultusunda ortaya çıkar. Bu ürünün ortaya çıkmasında yazar ya da sanatçının rolü, temsilcisi olduğu toplumun sözcülüğünü üstlenmektir. Aydın kimliğiyle, temsilci konumunda olan sanatçı ya da yazar, toplumda var olan “olası bilinç” sayesinde oluşan “dünya görüşü”nün şekillendirilmesi ve dile getirilmesini sağlar. Goldmann?ın işaret ettiği bu türden kesinlemeler doğrultusunda, onun çözümleme ve eleştiri yönteminin bir bütün olarak tiyatro yapıtına uyarlanmasının hacimli bir çalışmayı gerektireceği düşüncesinden hareketle çalımamızı sınırlandırmak istedik ve bu çalışmada, çağımız insanının gittikçe büyüyen anamalcı ekonomi düzeninin çarkları arasında parçalanan ve mutsuzluğu sürekli artan değişik toplumsal gruplara özgü insanların gündelik yaşamından bir kesit sunan Bernard-Marie Koltès?in Batı Rıhtımı (Quai Ouest) adlı tiyatro oyununda, yapıtın kaleme alındığı toplum koşullarında oluşan ortak bilinç çerçevesinde bir sözcü olarak yazarın ortaya koyduğu “dünya görüşü” ve “sorunsal kahraman” kavramlarını inceledik.

Lucien Goldmann, who determines the borders of genetic structuralism by combining his own principles and rules of literary sociology with the works of previous theoreticians, and shows the practices of different types of works, also demonstrates that his own method is also applicable to the analysis of theatre productions.To him, a work of art emerges in the mind as a thought, and until it reaches to the last level in which it is presented to the reader with its complete form, it reflects the historical, economic, social, and cultural necessities and needs of the society it belongs to. The role of the author or the artist in the process of formation of this product is to be the spokesman of his society. With his intellectual identity, the author or the artist, as an agent, forms and expresses the “worldview”, which is constituted by the “potential conscious” of the society. The present work makes use of the Goldmann?s method of analysis and criticism by applying it to the analysis of the dramatic work. In this paper, Bernard-Marie Koltès? absurd theatre play Quay West is introduced by presenting the lives of people who belong to different social groups and are the slaves of the gradually growing capitalist economy and unhappiness. The concepts of problematic hero, and the characters, who are the representatives of this social condition and the writer?s worldview, are also analyzed in this study.
