COVID-19 sürecinde yerel halkın yeşil alan kullanımı ve gereksinimi üzerine bir araştırma: Rize ili Fındıklı ilçesi

Abstract

Günümüzde yaşanan COVID-19 salgını ile birlikte dünya çapında bir pandemi süreci yaşanmıştır. Salgın süreci ile birlikte, bireylerin sosyal, fiziksel ve ruhsal sağlık durumlarında etkilenmeler olmuştur. Bu durum, özellikle de bireylerin, dış mekana yönelik rekreasyonel faaliyetlere olan talep ve eğilimlerini etkileyerek, yeşil alanlara olan ihtiyacı daha da önemli hale getirmiştir. Bu amaçla çalışmada, "Kentsel yeşil alanlar kişilerin sağlıklı olmalarında önemli bir etkiye sahip olup COVID-19 süreci ile kişilerin yeşil alanlara olan talep ve eğilimleri değişiklik göstermiştir" hipotezi ile "Kentsel yeşil alanlar kişilerin fiziksel-ruhsal ve sosyal sağlıklarını ne ölçüde etkilemektedir?", "COVID-19 sürecinde yeşil alan kullanım ve tercihleri nasıl olmuştur?" sorularına cevap aranmıştır. Çalışmanın genel amacı; Rize İli Fındıklı İlçesi özelinde, pandemi sürecinde yerel halkın yeşil alan kullanım ve tercihlerinin belirlenmesidir. Bu çerçevede öncelikle örnek alana ilişkin yeşil alan miktarı ve durumunun belirlenmesine yönelik çeşitli analizler yapılmıştır. Kentsel donatı alanları, mevcut aktif açık yeşil alan durumu, mahalle ölçeğinde aktif açık yeşil alan varlığı, mevcut açık yeşil alanların hizmet etki alanı ile imar planında öngörülen yeşil alan miktarının belirlenmesi bu kapsamda yapılan analizler olmuştur. Sonrasında Rize ili Fındıklı İlçesi'nde yaşayan 115 kişiye uygulanan anket çalışması ile kişilerin yeşil alan kullanım ve tercihlerine ilişkin görüş ve eğilimleri ortaya konmuştur. Anketlerden elde edilen veriler; frekans ve yüzde dağılımları gibi tanımlayıcı istatistiki analizlerin yanı sıra Ki-Kare testi ve Faktör analizi yöntemleri ile değerlendirilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda; Rize İlçesi Fındıklı İlçesi yeşil alan durumu ortaya konmuş, pandemi sürecinde yerel halkın yeşil alan kullanımı ve gereksinimi saptanarak çeşitli öneriler geliştirilmiştir.

There has been a worldwide pandemic process with the current COVID-19 epidemic. Individuals' social, physical, and mental health have all been impacted as a result of the epidemic. This condition has made the need for green spaces even more critical, especially through altering the desires and proclivities of individuals for outdoor recreational activities. For this reason, answers to the following questions were sought in the study: "Urban green spaces have a significant effect on people's health, and people's demands and tendencies for green spaces have changed with the Covid-19 process," "To what extent does urban green spaces affect people's physical-spiritual and social health?" and "How were green space usage and preferences during the Covid 19 process?". The study's overall goal is to determine how local people use green space and their preferences during the epidemic, particularly in the Fndkl District of Rize Province. Various analyses were carried out in this framework to estimate the amount and condition of green space in the sample area. The analyzes done in this context were the urban reinforcement areas, the present active open green space status, the availability of active open green space at the neighborhood scale, the service effect area of the existing open green areas and the amount of green space intended in the zoning plan. Following that, the attitudes and trends of the people regarding the use and preferences of green space were revealed by a questionnaire survey conducted on 115 persons residing in the Fndkl District of Rize province. The Chi-Square test and Factor analysis methods were used in addition to descriptive statistical analyses such as frequency and percentage distributions. The green space status in Fndkl District of Rize District was exposed as a consequence of the work, and many ideas were made by determining the green space use and demands of the local people during the epidemic process.
